Bhatkal:
Evening hours of 23rd May 24, 2017 witnessed a unfortunate death of pedestrians who was hit by shreekumar bus at madira colony NH66.
The deceased has been identified as Mohan Devappa Mogar (30), a resident of Shirali of Bhatkal taluk.
Sources say that, Mohan was going towards the circle which is aside the road, private bus was also going in same direction to pick its passengers then this incident happened. Interesting thing note down here is, reason for this accident might shock you, i.e., bus was moving with its side lugagage box door opened, which rammed Mohan who was calmly going to his house. Impact was so huge that, it broke the bus door & pedestrians got hurt to his head & stomach too. Youths who were present at this time, came to his rescue but they were not able to save his life, his succumbed to his injuries on the way.
Driver fled from this spot following this incident, Bhatkal police soon rushed to place for necessary investigation. Sadly Mohan was fisherman, we wish his soul R.I.P.
