Gold worth 49.15 lakhs was seized from 3 passenger by Custom officials at Mangalore International Airport on Thursday. Mangauru customs Commissioner M Subramanyam has released a statement which says that, 3 passengers who had concealed Gold were approaching towards Mangalore from Dubai on 2 different planes. It also said that, Gold was in rectangular cut pieces weighing around 1,66075 gm, was packed in carbon paper and surrounded with adhesive tape. Passengers were from Ulhasnagar of Thane district in Maharashtra
