On 20th may 2020, A cyclone hit to India. Amphan cyclone hit to West Bengal, Odisha and Andaman Nicobar islands in Bay of Bengal. Before occurring of cyclone Amphan,vedio conference meeting was held by prime minister Narendra Modi to give suggestions to Odisha CM Naveen Patnayak and Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee. Both of them took safer steps and they shifted more than 3 lakh people to safer places.
By today more than 80 people has been died due to powerful Amphan cyclone. Thousands of houses has been destroyed. According to the sources,Many of the trees has fallen down. Due to this,deaths are more. The winds has blowed 240 km/h speed. This may be the inverse reason.
Amphan cyclone caused 13.35 billion dollar damage. It is the most costliest damage recorded in North Indian ocean. On the other hand NDRF has done their job better. Saved many people’s life at risk.
Indirectly this is plus to corona because of cyclone cold weather has established in the eastern states of India. In cold climate corona virus spreads and grows very easily. Already Bengal and Odisha has many corona cases. By this cases may be increased. The symptoms of covid 19 are sneezing, fever, caugh, cold etc. But due to cyclone these has been common due to cold weather and rain and virus can live for many days in this weather. It is a financial loss to India from starting of corona no financial activities are going on. Again India needs finance to recovery of cyclone. By the stroke of cyclone, it is a big loss to India And another challenge is to recovery from this deadly virus. It is emergency to get back from the stroke of cyclone and Covid-19 as fast as possible.
