Kundapur:
Deadliest incident happened on may 1st at Marvante NH 66 near Gangoli ( kundapur) which resulted in 1 person death & 5 people were injured in which 3 years & 4 years old kids are serious. Injured people are taken to manipal hospital.
People say that Main reason for accident was speed , which was unable to control & collided with Goa registered car which was on opposite lane. Driver was taken immediately to kundapur hospital after accident but he could not latch on his life he died. Deceased is identified as Dhana Pandyan (37) , injured victims who were travelling in same car are Saroja ( 55) Kamachi (62) , Vasuki (32), Naidershan (08)& Kamali (04). All are admitted in Manipal Hospital.
The impact of collision was such a disastrous that Both cars front side was damaged.
Sources said, the incident reported when Bangalore based family were moving towards Dharmasthala after finishing their holidays visit to Murdeshwar.
Gangoli helpline service reached to spot immediately, & took away injured victims to Kundapur & manipal in their Ambulance.
A case has been registered at Gangolli police station.
